The compact dimensions combined with the powerful dehumidification performance make this model ideal for drying out buildings and drying out water damage. With its two large castors and a guide bar, it is easy to move around objects.   Operation  The desired target humidity can be selected in 1% increments between 40-80% using the digital control panel on the front. Continuous operation is also possible. The set values ​​can be saved at the touch of a button. In the event of a power failure, operation will automatically continue with the same settings as soon as the power is restored. The moist room air is sucked in at the front and cleaned of dust and dirt by an easy-to-clean filter that can be pulled out upwards. The dried air is then blown out to the back. The display shows the currently measured humidity.  The water extracted from the air can either be collected in the inserted bucket or drained directly via a hose (suitable inner diameter: 12 mm). A float automatically stops operation when the bucket is full. If the water is drained via the hose, it first runs through the bucket to which the hose connector is attached. This system is very safe: if the hose is blocked, kinked or not laid correctly, the water backs up into the bucket. When the bucket is full, operation stops. This very reliable and powerful pump with check valve can be used free-standing or built directly into the device. The pump can also be wall-mounted, as there are two brackets on the back with which the pump can be attached to the wall using two screws.   The pump is suitable for condensate water, but not for dirty water. The water can be fed into the pump via a maximum of 3 inlets and is pumped away via a thin 3/8 inch (10 mm) connection using a hose up to a maximum height of 4 meters (the hose is not included in delivery). The pump has a cable with a three-pin Swiss plug (230V).   The pump's check valve prevents water from flowing back from the outgoing hose. The condensate pump has a float that only starts the device when water has accumulated. It can therefore also be used when water is not constantly flowing in. The Oasis dehumidifiers are among the most widely used drying devices that have been used successfully for many years on construction sites and by private users. The devices have now been revised and adapted to the latest state of the art with the latest, environmentally friendly refrigerant R290 and improved efficiency. The Oasis D165 is suitable for basements and rooms up to 90m² and has a large bucket and direct hose connection as standard. The Bora 208 from Roth-Kippe is an affordable, well-designed dryer for families with children and for households that don't want to tumble dry all their laundry. It dries about 2-3 washing machine loads per day and is available as the "Bora208" (without switchable heating) or the "Bora208H" (with switchable heating). The version with heating can be used to heat the room to 18°C ​​in cooler environments at the touch of a button. In rooms that are 18°C ​​or more all year round, the version with heating is therefore of no advantage. service The Bora has a clear, digital control panel, which can be set in different languages ​​(German, French, Italian, English). If the humidity rises again, the drying mode switches back on. Specially for the Bora: By pressing the program button several times, the start time can be delayed by half an hour. This means that you can hang up the laundry during the day, for example, but postpone the drying time until the electricity tariff is low. Switchable heating: For a small additional charge, the device is also available as the "Bora 208 H". The switchable 1000W heater speeds up laundry drying in the cold season because warm air can absorb more moisture than cold air. If the heater is switched on, it heats until a room temperature of 18°C ​​is reached. Above 18°C, the heater is inactive, even if it is switched on.  Blower and fan speeds: The blower is a radial blower, which is placed in the upper part of the housing. It spreads air relatively widely, but loses power as it goes deeper (in long drying rooms). The Bora is therefore particularly suitable for short to medium-sized laundry lines up to approx. 5m long, which can be 2m wide. The dry air jet should blow through the laundry below the clotheslines so that it can swing in the wind. This means that the moisture is released into the room air more quickly and can be intercepted by the dryer. The optimal installation height for the Bora should therefore be slightly below the lines, usually around 1.70m from the top edge of the device. Selectable fan speeds: The Boras have one fan speed, i.e. on or off. Air louvres: The front of the housing is fixed, i.e. the blowing direction or the dispersion cannot be changed. Direct hose connection: The water extracted from the laundry drains through a hose connection on the bottom of the housing. There is no pump integrated into the device, so the hose must have a constant gradient towards the drain.
