Comfortable operation
The unit is operated via a clearly laid out control panel with a display on top, where the desired target humidity can be entered in 5% increments. Continuous operation is also possible. The integrated hygrostat then implements this target fully automatically and automatically regulates the performance of the compressor and two-stage fan.
The display panel shows you, among other things, the current value of the relative humidity in the room, the current room temperature and the entered target value. The dryer also has a timer function, an automatic error diagnosis system and a memory function. This memory function ensures that the set humidity value and the operating mode are saved even after switching off or in the event of a power failure. This makes this model also suitable for operation with a timer, for example if you only want to run it during off-peak hours.
The water that is extracted from the air is collected in the bucket at the front. A float automatically stops operation when the bucket is full. Alternatively, the water can be drained directly into a lower drain via a connectable hose. The hose must be laid in a sloping manner as the device does not contain a pump. The hose connection is particularly well designed on this model: if the hose is not permeable or is laid incorrectly (kinked, not enough gradient, etc.), the water is automatically diverted into the bucket, which automatically switches the device off when it is full. With other models, backed-up water can lead to leakage from the floor, which is prevented with this model.
Also suitable for drying laundry
The combination of good dehumidification power and attractive air flow makes this dehumidifier also a tumble dryer, which can dry 1-2 washing machine loads per day in a temperate environment. Dehumidifiers offer the advantage that laundry is dried gently, just like in nature. Colors stay bright and clothes last longer than with conventional tumble dryers, and all while using significantly less electricity. In addition, sensitive materials such as wool, silk or synthetic fibers can be dried without any concerns.
Permanent air circulation
In this model, the compressor (= dehumidification) stops when the desired humidity is reached, while the fan runs continuously to circulate the room air.
Environmentally friendly refrigerant
Every year, synthetic refrigerants release several million tons of environmentally harmful CO2 emissions (greenhouse gases) into the air. Therefore, the use of alternative refrigerants is one of our most important goals. By using propane (R290) as a refrigerant, this dehumidifier makes a valuable contribution to climate protection.
The natural refrigerant propane (R290) is an organic compound and is classified as a hydrocarbon. In contrast to synthetic refrigerants, environmentally friendly propane (R290) has neither ozone depletion potential (ODP=0) nor a significant greenhouse effect (GWP=3).
Additional benefit for the environment: Due to its excellent thermodynamic properties, propane (R290) is a particularly energy-efficient refrigerant and thus also reduces your energy costs.
