Here, the dehumidifier offers a hygrostat-controlled automatic dehumidification system, with a target value pre-selected between 35 and 85% relative humidity in convenient 5% increments, including a switchable turbo fan.
A popular alternative to automatic dehumidification is the comfort function, where the humidity level is automatically regulated to a comfortable level depending on the temperature. Other operating modes available include a laundry drying function and a permanent function.
Comfort function: Temperature-dependent dehumidification
For an optimal room climate, the room temperature and humidity must be coordinated. And this is exactly where temperature-dependent dehumidification comes in. The device regulates the humidity level to the optimal value depending on the temperature. The comfort function is particularly recommended when using program-controlled heating systems. If the room temperature changes during the day or at night, the dehumidifier adjusts its dehumidification performance fully automatically. This protects against mold formation and saves electricity.
Permanent air circulation
In this model, the compressor (= dehumidification) stops when the desired humidity is reached, while the fan runs continuously to circulate the room air.
Practical functions
This dryer is an absolutely reliable partner when it comes to keeping living and office spaces up to around 40 m² dry. Various details simplify operation, such as the viewing window on the tank, through which the fill level can be easily seen, the practical timer function, the fill level warning light when the water tank is full and the overfill protection with automatic shutdown. The air filter is easy to remove and wash out. When the tank is full, a float automatically stops operation.
auto-restart function
Thanks to the auto-restart function (or memory function), the device restarts with the same settings as soon as the power is restored after a power failure. This also makes the dehumidifier suitable for use with a timer.
Gentle laundry drying with dehumidifiers
In addition to dehumidifying the air in the room, a dehumidifier can be used to significantly speed up the drying of laundry - either as a supplement or as a complete replacement for a conventional tumble dryer. The laundry drying function (or textile drying mode or SuperDry function) is comparable to traditional air drying outdoors. Dehumidifiers offer the advantage that laundry is dried gently, just like in nature. Colors stay bright and clothes last longer than with conventional tumble dryers, while using significantly less electricity. In addition, sensitive materials such as wool, silk or synthetic fibers can be dried without any problems.
environmentally friendly refrigerant R290
Every year, synthetic refrigerants release several million tons of environmentally harmful CO2 emissions (greenhouse gases) into the air. Therefore, the use of alternative refrigerants is one of our most important goals. By using propane (R290) as a refrigerant, this dehumidifier makes a valuable contribution to climate protection. The natural refrigerant propane (R290) is an organic compound and is a hydrocarbon. In contrast to synthetic refrigerants, environmentally friendly propane (R290) has neither ozone depletion potential (ODP=0) nor a significant greenhouse effect (GWP=3).
Additional benefit for the environment: Due to its excellent thermodynamic properties, propane (R290) is a particularly energy-efficient refrigerant and thus also reduces your energy costs.
