Perfect all-rounder for construction, trade and water damage restoration
This Trotec dehumidifier impresses with its powerful dehumidification performance combined with a strong fan that blows the dried air back into the room at high speed. This means that the room air is circulated optimally and drying is significantly faster, especially in large, very humid archive and storage rooms or those with shelves.
The trolley construction with guide handles, carrying troughs and large wheels facilitates transport even in difficult terrain or on steps.
The dryer has an easy-care control panel with a digital display of all functions for quick start-up. For hygrostat-controlled automatic operation, the target can be preselected in percentage increments, which is then displayed together with the current actual value. The selectable target humidity range is 20 - 90%, although in practice values below 35% are difficult to achieve. This device develops its full power in rooms that are at least slightly temperate; 12 °C or higher is ideal.
The timer can be used to configure the switch-on or switch-off time, and thanks to the integrated memory function, the settings are retained even after a power failure. This means that operation with a timer is also possible.
bucket and direct hose connection
The water extracted from the air is collected in a 5.5 liter bucket. A magnetic float automatically stops operation when the bucket is full and a warning light indicates visually that the bucket should be emptied. A hose can be connected to the bucket itself if necessary if the water can be drained away directly. The hose must be laid in a downward direction as there is no pump integrated into the dryer (we can optionally supply a free-standing condensate pump if the water can or should be pumped up or away.
With optional air hose connection for cavity drying
Whether in suspended ceilings, bathtub cavities, cassette walls or cable ducts - if moisture has penetrated into hard-to-reach cavities, action should be taken quickly to prevent mold from forming. This dehumidifier is also suitable for this, as it is equipped with a particularly powerful fan with 3.2 MPa air pressure. An air hose with a suitable adapter can optionally be attached to this so that the dry air is directed precisely to the damp areas.
Note: If there is a lot of dirt, dust or mold in the cavity, the room should not be occupied or used during this drying process, as otherwise the dust particles and mold spores can spread everywhere. In this case, the additional use of an air purifier is recommended.
Propane (R290) as an environmentally friendly refrigerant in dehumidifiers
Every year, synthetic refrigerants release several million tons of environmentally harmful CO2 emissions (greenhouse gases) into the air. Therefore, the use of alternative refrigerants is one of our most important goals. By using propane (R290) as a refrigerant, this dehumidifier makes a valuable contribution to climate protection.
The natural refrigerant propane (R290) is an organic compound and is classified as a hydrocarbon. In contrast to synthetic refrigerants, environmentally friendly propane (R290) has neither ozone depletion potential (ODP=0) nor a significant greenhouse effect (GWP=3).
Additional benefit for the environment: Due to its excellent thermodynamic properties, propane (R290) is a particularly energy-efficient refrigerant and thus also reduces your energy costs.
