Comfort function: Temperature-dependent dehumidification
For an optimal room climate, the room temperature and humidity must be coordinated. And this is exactly where temperature-dependent dehumidification comes in. The device regulates the humidity level to the optimal value depending on the temperature. The comfort function is particularly recommended for use in rooms with temperature fluctuations throughout the day or year. If the room temperature changes, the dehumidifier adjusts its dehumidification performance fully automatically.
Effective and simple
The device also has a hygrostat-controlled automatic dehumidification system. A fixed humidity value is selected which should not be exceeded. The setting range is between 35 and 85% relative humidity, in 5% increments. If the value is exceeded, the dehumidifier activates automatically and switches itself off again automatically, saving energy, as soon as the desired target value is reached.
Gentle laundry drying with dehumidifiers
In addition to dehumidifying the air in the room, the dehumidifier can also be used to conveniently dry laundry - either as a supplement or as a complete replacement for a conventional tumble dryer. The laundry drying function is comparable to traditional air drying outdoors.
Dehumidifiers offer the advantage that laundry is dried gently, just like in nature. Colors stay bright and clothes last longer than with conventional tumble dryers, while using significantly less electricity. In addition, sensitive materials such as wool, silk or synthetic fibers can be dried without any problems. In contrast to pure air drying, laundry becomes softer and more comfortable to wear on the skin because the clothes move in the gentle wind of the dryer while drying.
Propane (R290) as an environmentally friendly refrigerant in dehumidifiers
Every year, synthetic refrigerants release several million tons of environmentally harmful CO2 emissions (greenhouse gases) into the air. Therefore, the use of alternative refrigerants is one of our most important goals. By using propane (R290) as a refrigerant, this dehumidifier makes a valuable contribution to climate protection. The natural refrigerant propane (R290) is an organic compound and is a hydrocarbon. In contrast to synthetic refrigerants, environmentally friendly propane (R290) has neither ozone depletion potential (ODP=0) nor a significant greenhouse effect (GWP=3).
Additional benefit for the environment: Due to its excellent thermodynamic properties, propane (R290) is a particularly energy-efficient refrigerant and thus also reduces your energy costs.
Convincing features
The timer function, a level warning light when the water tank is full, the overfill protection with automatic shutdown and a laundry drying mode round off the comfort features of this TTK dehumidifier. In addition, the integrated, washable air filter enables additional air purification by extracting dust or animal hair. Thanks to its wheels and practical carrying handles, the device is also ideally prepared for flexible changes of location. Thanks to its convenient features, it is easy to handle and low-maintenance.
bucket, direct hose connection and integrated condensate pump
The water that is extracted from the air is collected in a 6-litre bucket as standard. A float automatically stops operation when the bucket is full. Alternatively, the water can be drained directly into a lower drain via a hose. If there is no floor drain, the water can be pumped up to 4 metres high using the pump already built into the device, for example into a washbasin, out of a basement window or even up one floor. Direct drainage is particularly convenient when the unit is not being used, as there is no need to empty the bucket (hobby rooms, holiday homes, etc.).
The integrated pump is not suitable for long-term continuous operation (such as when drying water damage). However, short-term continuous operation, for example when drying laundry, is no problem.
Permanent air circulation
In this model, the compressor (= dehumidification) stops when the desired humidity is reached, while the fan runs continuously to circulate the room air.
