This professional ozone destroyer breaks down residual ozone up to ten times faster than the natural ozone decomposition requires. Ozone treatment of indoor spaces is an effective and proven method for large-scale disinfection or for the effective removal of odors following fire and water damage.
However, after each treatment, it was previously necessary to wait for the lengthy process of ozone depletion, during which the unoxidized ozone in the room slowly breaks down naturally into oxygen. Only when the prescribed limit values are exceeded can the previously treated rooms be safely re-entered.
Indoors, the half-life of ozone under typical conditions is usually 30 to 60 minutes, which means that the ozone concentration in the room air naturally only halves hour by hour. The larger the room being treated and the more powerful the ozone disinfector used, the higher the ozone concentration in the room and the more time-consuming the natural degradation process. In addition, especially in rooms where disinfection is carried out regularly, the reduction in reagents inevitably leads to longer and longer ozone degradation phases, meaning the waiting time until the room can be safely used again becomes longer and longer, and the loss of use becomes more and more costly.
Although effective cross-ventilation could also accelerate ozone depletion, the treated rooms are rarely equipped with the necessary ventilation options, such as hotel rooms with secured windows or windowless basements, storage rooms and archive rooms.
This device enables the technical regeneration of oxygen in ozone-polluted rooms and thus significantly accelerates their economic reusability. Depending on the conditions of use, rooms can be safely entered and used again after just a tenth of the time required for the natural decomposition of ozone.
Unique master-slave solution for accelerated ozone depletion
The "Zerozon" was specially designed for combined use with all ozone disinfectors in the "Airozon" professional series. The device is equipped with a dedicated power supply and a control console for the connected Airozon device, enabling synchronized combined operation of both devices. Alternatively, standalone operation is also possible. Please note that this additional socket attached to the device complies with EU standards. For devices with a Swiss plug, this means that only two-pin Swiss plugs can be connected. Three-pin T12 plugs, on the other hand, do not fit without an adapter.
In Airozon combination mode, the Zerozon automatically switches off the connected Airozon device after the configured treatment time has been reached and automatically begins the technical oxygen regeneration. For this purpose, the Zerozon can be equipped with powerful special filters that cause accelerated catalytic ozone degradation.
