Proven UV dye for pipe burst detection, available in various colors. This dispersion can be diluted with water. In the visible wavelength range it leaves practically no visible traces, but when illuminated with UV light it glows intensely.
The product is particularly suitable for leak tests on water-bearing levels of flat roofs or for checking drains and downpipes. The fluorescent substance can be detected and made visible under UV light at its exit points.
Further possible uses include non-destructive testing (NDT) and leak detection, when capillary permeability is of secondary importance and no visible traces of the UV tracer should remain.
To ensure that users have the optimal UV fluorescent dye for every task, the product is now available in four bright colors. In addition to the established green version, there are now also red, blue and purple.
Important: Luminat is not suitable as a food coloring.
