When drying insulation layers using negative pressure, the use of a class H13 particulate filter is highly recommended to protect against mineral fibre dust, mould and allergens in the air.
This two-part Multiqube filter consists of a robust, maintenance-friendly plastic housing and the filter element, which must be replaced after appropriate use. It was specially developed for use with Trotec water separators and compressors and is characterized by optimal filter performance and a high degree of separation. The filter class H13 according to DIN EN 1822-1 corresponds to a separation efficiency of nominally > 99.97% at 0.3 micrometer particle size. With 3 m² filter area and 315 m³/h nominal air throughput, the filter elements are optimally matched to the technical specifications of the vacuum turbines of Trotec compressors and offer performance reserves for combined use with up to two VE4S MultiQube or one VX5.
Optional filter class H14
For an even higher purity rate, a class H14 filter is optionally available (item no. 7.160.000.223) with a separation efficiency of > 99.995% at 0.2 micrometer particle size.
Hepacontrol
Contaminated filters not only pose a risk of contamination of the ambient air, they also have longer drying times and overheating
of the compressor turbine. Compared to passive systems, this offers even more safety thanks to its innovative "Hepacontrol" status display.
Active contamination protection: If the filter performance is too low due to a worn filter element, the warning light switches on automatically and clearly signals that the filter element needs to be replaced. Hepacontrol does not require an additional power connection, as the bright warning LED is powered by an integrated and particularly long-lasting high-performance battery.
