Immediately after switching on, the battery-operated laser, which can therefore be used conveniently anywhere, projects a right-angled cross or, optionally, a single horizontal or vertical line onto the opposite object surface. And because the device is self-leveling, the projected lines in this mode are always 100% horizontal/vertical.
The leveling mode automatically compensates for unevenness in the surface up to a 4° inclination. If self-leveling is not possible due to larger unevenness, the laser warns with a red flashing LED on the device and a pulsating laser cross on the projection surface. Where previously you had to laboriously use a spirit level and pencil, modern laser technology now helps.
Despite the latest technology, it is so easy to use that not only experienced craftsmen can benefit from its practical advantages, but also DIY enthusiasts with less experience can create both perfect right-angled and angle-independent laser guide lines.
Thanks to its lightweight and compact design and the multifunctional holder included in the delivery, the device is extremely mobile. In addition to a ¼-inch thread for fixing to standard tripods, it also has an integrated suction cup on the holder, which can be used to easily attach it to windows or smooth tiles, for example.
