The large-area humidifier B400 is a powerful cold evaporator with air washer function. It is relatively quiet and compact, ensuring good humidity in dry living rooms, overheated offices, warehouses and workshops up to 250 m².
functional principle
A humidification mat is pulled through the water bath with an impeller and absorbs moisture. This creates a build-up of moisture in the device, which is released into the room air with a two-stage adjustable fan. This method is very effective in terms of humidification performance, at the same time particles in the air are caught on the humidification mat and deposited in the water bath. The humidifier therefore also cleans the air of flying particles such as dust and pollen.
service
It is extremely easy to operate. The humidifier has only two rotary switches:
Operating switch: three-stage - OFF, fan level 1 or fan level 2
Hygrostat switch: for continuous regulation of the desired target humidity
Two lights also indicate when the device is in operation and when the water tank is empty.
The humidifier has a metal housing (white powder-coated), stands on 4 wheels and is easy to move.
ventilation
The ventilation is two-stage, the maximum air output is 500 m³, the operating noise is good on level 2, only minimally noticeable on level 1. The three ventilation grilles at the top of the air outlet can be easily aligned either forwards or backwards.
consumables and maintenance
The water bath (pull-out drawer) serves to provide the required humidity, but also collects the dirt that is removed from the air. It should therefore be completely emptied or cleaned once a week. The humidification wheel is clicked into the holder from above and can be easily removed for cleaning; the degree of dirt and therefore the need for cleaning can be seen from above.
As with all cold evaporators, it is advisable to disinfect the water in the B400 to prevent germs and bacteria. The silver cubes (Ionic Silver Sticks), which are available from us as consumables, are ideal for this purpose. The silver cubes should be replaced once per season, otherwise no consumables are required for this device.
