Ideal for removing the moist warm air from 2-hose air conditioning systems. In 99% of cases, the exhaust hoses are mounted on an open window.
Without an intelligent window duct, such a solution is extremely uneconomical, as warm outside air constantly flows back inside through the window opening, at least partially destroying the cooling performance of the air conditioning unit. In other words: your mobile air conditioning unit not only has to cool the warm air in the room, but also the outside air flowing in. This clever sealing cloth significantly increases energy efficiency.
This practical helper can be attached to any type of window in just a few simple steps and not only reliably prevents warm outside air from flowing back into the air-conditioned interior, but also prevents insects from entering. If installed correctly, the window can be closed as usual without having to remove the fabric.
The translucent fabric is made of a durable and water-repellent material with low thermal conductivity. This increases cooling efficiency and reduces consumption costs. The purchase costs are therefore paid for in a very short time.
Easy installation
The sealing cloth is attached using the Velcro fastener provided, which can be removed at any time, similar to mosquito nets. It can also be easily cleaned in the washing machine.
Suitable for air conditioners with two-hose technology
Air conditioning units with two-hose technology work with two separate air paths. Commercially available window seals normally only have one zipper opening and are therefore not suitable for use with two-hose units. This "Airlock" has two openings, which allow the variable attachment of one or two exhaust hoses. If only one opening is required, the zipper closes the second invisibly and airtight.
Maximum circumference 560 cm
The sum of the three open sides for this model must not exceed 560 cm. This is usually enough to enclose even tilted balcony doors. For normal-sized windows, please also consider the "Airlock200" model.
