The active electrode RFT 28 EL is a sensor for measuring air humidity and air temperature with a fast measuring speed. It is an addition to one of the Gann Hydromette base stations listed below and cannot be operated separately from them.
The sensor's fast response speed enables it to detect leaks, such as gaps in doors or leaky windows, as even small air currents affect the measured value display. The sensor adapts to the ambient climate even when switched off. For particularly precise measurements, the device should be exposed to the ambient climate to be measured for 10 - 15 minutes so that any temperature differences between the electrode and the surrounding climate can be compensated.
Suitable base devices
The electrode can be used with all hydromets that support this procedure, i.e. with the following basic devices:
• Hydromette M 4050
• Hydromette RTU 600
• Hydromette UNI 1
• Hydromette UNI 2
The manufacturer Gann is one of the leading producers of high-quality moisture measuring devices from Germany. Gann measuring devices are considered standard among working instruments among professionals in building drying and water damage drying. They are also recognized by damage experts in insurance companies.
