Within a few minutes, DRYFIX absorbs water up to 200 times its own volume and transforms it into a solid gel. This allows work areas to be dried out quickly and efficiently and forms a dam that keeps incoming water away.
Application examples professional application
Water damage drying:
The granules can be sprinkled directly onto standing water. They absorb the water and can then be swept away with a shovel and broom.
Flat roof:
By drying out wet flat roof areas with Dryfix, planned work can be carried out even when there is standing water.
Fire department:
In the case of water damage of all kinds, the use of Dryfix can create a solid dam in a very short time to prevent the water from spreading further.
Sanitary:
Binds standing water in pipes, toilet bowls, etc.
Easy to use
The powder is sprinkled directly into the standing water in a circle or boundary around the work area. The water in the work area is completely absorbed and a dam of gel is created.
Add more granules if necessary.
Remove gel from the work area with a broom.
Once the work is completed, the gel residue can simply be disposed of in the household waste.
Application examples in the household
Absorbs spilled liquids such as spilled drinks, animal urine and much more.
What is interesting is that not only the liquid itself is bound by the gel, but also surrounding smaller particles such as animal hair, broken glass, etc.
Tip: To reduce the volume when disposing of the product, the soaked granules can be dried in the sun, for example. This reduces the volume significantly. Instead of powder, a hardened lump forms (similar to sugar stored in too moist conditions).
