The Oasis dehumidifiers are among the most widely used drying devices that have been used successfully for many years on construction sites and by private users. The devices have now been revised and adapted to the latest state of the art with the latest, environmentally friendly refrigerant R290 and improved efficiency. The Oasis D165 is suitable for basements and rooms up to 90m² and has a large bucket and direct hose connection as standard.
Although visually very similar, the D165 dehumidifier has been completely redesigned in several respects compared to its predecessor:

• improved automatic self-defrosting, therefore usable down to 5°C (previously: 8°C)
• reinforced front cover with spark protection shell
• reinforced, durable rollers
The dryer stands on 4 castors, but can also be attached to the wall on a suitable wall bracket available from us. The air intake area is at the back, where a filter cleans the moist air. The filter itself is easy to remove and clean. The dry air is blown out into the room at the front. The Oasis is therefore ideal for general humidity control in a classic basement environment, for example in new buildings, but also for unattended continuous operation in temperature-controlled archives and on construction sites. The fan is rather too weak for active laundry drying.
The target humidity is regulated using a continuously variable hygrostat wheel on the front. When the set value is reached, dehumidification pauses (ventilation also stops) until the humidity rises again. Operation continues with the same setting even after a power failure. This means that the D165 is also suitable for operation with a timer if, for example, you only want to run the dryer during low tariff periods. Thanks to the tube evaporators, the D165 extracts water from the air down to low humidity levels.
The water is collected in the tank pushed into the back; a float mechanically stops operation when the tank is full. Alternatively, a hose can be screwed onto the condensate collecting tray (with a coupling/3/4 inch thread), whereby the hose must have a gradient towards the drain (no pump integrated in the device).

Construction and industrial dryers : thanks to their handy, robust design, they are ideal for drying on construction sites and in industry.
Drying out water damage : The Oasis uses tube evaporators to remove water from the air even in areas of low humidity. This significantly accelerates the drying out of water damage.

Thanks to hot gas defrosting, the dryer can be used over a wide temperature range between +5°C and +32°C, although as with all condensation dryers, the dehumidification power decreases in cooler environments. Examples of dehumidification performance and consumption under different (constant) ambient conditions:
30°C/80% RH: 28 liters / 24 h
27°C/60% RH: 16.8 liters / 24 h
20°C/60% RH: 10.8 liters / 24 h
10°C/70% RH: 5.3 liters / 24 h

Massive improvement in environmental compatibility
The GWP (Global Warming Potential - influence on global warming) was reduced by a factor of 800 (!) from 1430 (R134a) to less than 2 (R290). Furthermore, the D165 requires 10% less electricity while simultaneously increasing dehumidification performance by 14% (at room temperature 20°C, 60% RH).
