The Ulisse 13DCI closes the gap between mobile monoblock air conditioning units and permanently installed split air conditioning units. It is portable, with the indoor and outdoor units connected by a cooling line. The outdoor unit is placed on the terrace, for example, or can be hung on an outside wall, while the indoor unit is placed in the room or office to be cooled. The advantage of this air conditioning system compared to monoblock air conditioning units is the quiet operating noise and significantly better energy efficiency. The 13DCI works with the latest inverter technology, which means that the performance of the compressor adapts to the effective cooling requirement and therefore does not always run at full power.
The setting is simple and convenient using the remote control included in delivery. The target temperature can be selected in 1°C increments between 10°C and 32°C. As with all air conditioning units, whether low target temperatures are actually achieved depends on the size of the room and the amount of heat that enters the room, e.g. from sunlight or devices in the room.
"I Feel" function: The device has two measuring points. One on the device itself, a second is on the remote control. With the so-called "I Feel" button, the remote control measures the temperature and controls the air conditioning unit. This means you can put the remote control next to you on the sofa, for example, and always have the optimal temperature wherever you are. The only requirement for the "I Feel" function is direct visual contact between the remote control and the indoor unit.
The warm air is sucked in at the front of the indoor unit, cooled and blown into the room at the top front. During the cooling process, excess water is simultaneously removed from the air. This is also fed together with a hose through the connecting line from the indoor to the outdoor unit in front of the fan, where it is automatically nebulized.
Important to know when using mobile split air conditioners
• The indoor and outdoor units are connected with a copper cooling pipe. Copper is not reversible, which means: if the copper pipe is kinked, it is destroyed and must be replaced (cost for a 2m pipe: CHF 310.-).
• If the pipe between the indoor and outdoor units is to be routed through a hole (eg in the wall), it must be separated from the outdoor unit. This requires knowledge of how to handle refrigerant pipes and should be done by a specialist. Otherwise, it is likely that coolant will escape during the separation process, thereby reducing the cooling performance. We have appropriately trained specialists and can offer you both delivery and installation.

Quick course on establishing a WIFI connection to Ulisse
- Connect the device to the power supply (or unplug and reconnect)
- Press the on/off button for 5 seconds until the WIFI light flashes.
- Connect the desired device to the WLAN network «UI_Setup»
- On the Internet, enter and open the following: 192.168.4.1
- Select the WLAN to which the Ulisse must be connected, enter the password, click on “APP Connect”.
- Change username and password if desired and click on «APP Connect» again
- Ulisse can now be served
