The hardest worker among the new Aerial WT dryers! It is specially built for intensive use and dries laundry quickly and reliably while being easy to operate. With a drying capacity of around 3.6 kg of laundry per hour, this model dries what a washing machine can wash in around 2 hours.
service
The device is very easy to operate using the easy-to-understand digital controls on the front. The display provides the current information about the room status and the selected program. The display languages available are German, French, Italian and English.
Drying programs:
The laundry drying program can be started at the touch of a button. The dehumidifier runs until the laundry is dry and then switches off automatically. With the help of three pre-programmed drying levels, you can choose between partially dry, iron-dry or cupboard dry. All pre-programmed moisture values can be changed at any time according to your own wishes.
The dryer also has a general room monitoring function to prevent mold and odors in the basement. The device switches on automatically whenever the room humidity rises above the mold and odor limit of 60% RH. This humidity value can also be changed as desired. Unlike the laundry drying programs, the dryer never switches off completely in this mode, but only pauses as long as the humidity is right. If the humidity rises again, the drying mode switches back on.
In both programs, both the current humidity and the target humidity are visible on the display.
Blower and fan speeds:
The blower is an electronically operated, economical radial fan. The dry air jet goes slightly downwards from the outlet, which means that the air is blown into the lower part of the laundry, where the laundry is normally the wettest. This falling wind tunnel is also very practical if you set up a clothes rack in front of the device.
Selectable fan settings: The WT280 has a (powerful) fan setting. This provides fast drying results, even with a lot of laundry and long drying rooms of up to approx. 10m.
Adjustable air slats:
Flexible slats are attached to the air outlet, which can be adjusted laterally and in height so that the air can be adjusted more precisely to the length/width of the clothesline.
Direct hose connection:
The water extracted from the laundry runs into a hose which, on the WT devices, is attached slightly below the back wall, rather than on the underside of the device as is usual. This is an advantage over other models if the gradient to the drain is not very great or if the device is to be hung a little lower. There is no pump integrated into the device, so the hose must have a constant gradient to the drain. If there is no drain, the water can of course also be easily collected in a bucket placed under the device. We have suitable inlet pipes and buckets in our range if required.
Air filter:
The moist room air is sucked in at the top of the front. A magnetically attached filter with a frame cleans the air of coarse dust and fluff so that the inside of the device remains clean. The filter consists of a very fine, close-meshed nylon net. This has a high cleaning power, is easy to clean and, if treated correctly, usually lasts for the entire life of the dryer.
Memory function:
The settings are saved in the room monitoring program. If the power is interrupted, the dryer will resume operation with the same settings. It is therefore also suitable for operation with a timer, for example if you only want to run the dryer during off-peak hours. If the power is interrupted during the laundry drying program, the device goes into standby and must be restarted.
Room temperature: Technically, Aerial's WT dryers can be used down to 8°C. Please note that the drying time for all room air dryers increases significantly the colder the room is. For optimum drying speed, 15°C and higher are optimal. The declared drying performance was measured at a room temperature of 20°C.
Made in Europe:
The WT dryers are manufactured by the Dantherm Group in Europe. They have received very good ratings from the Swiss testing institute for tumble dryers, "Swiss Testing".
Service-friendly device construction:
The entire cover can be removed from the device in just a few easy steps. This makes handling easier when cleaning or servicing is required, as the device does not have to be removed from the wall.
mounting on the wall
As with all tumble dryers, installation is extremely simple: a mounting rail is anchored into the wall with 2 screws, and the device can then be hung up. All necessary installation material such as screws/anchors and 2m of hose is included in the scope of delivery. Both the support rail and the two buffers in the lower area of the device that support the wall are insulated with rubber to minimize the transmission of vibrations to the wall. Due to the high dehumidification performance, we recommend draining the condensate directly into the sink using the hose if possible (hose is included in the scope of delivery). If you want to use a bucket, please ensure that it has enough capacity (at least 8 liters) to avoid overflowing while drying laundry. If mounting on the wall is not possible, you will find suitable chassis in our range to which the dryer can be mounted.
If you wish, we can professionally install the dryer at your home. Price on request. Important: • Sanitary (drain) or electrical (230V socket) installations are not carried out by us and must be commissioned separately by you through an appropriate tradesman, if one does not already exist. • If your wall has internal insulation, we need to know this when ordering, as installation is more complex. The installation prices quoted refer to direct wall installation, i.e. directly on brick or concrete walls without insulation. Additional costs for installation on insulated walls are charged according to the effort involved.
