The new AD 520 was specially developed for professional use. The extra-lightweight housings are particularly popular on construction sites and when drying out water damage. Thanks to the latest technology, they are economical and can be used in temperatures down to just below freezing. The water is collected in a 7-litre condensate tank as standard, with a float automatically stopping operation when the tank is full. The water can also be drained directly via the hose connection. The condensate hose can be plugged directly onto the water nozzle without a coupling (we recommend a clamp for secure attachment). Optional pump kit: A suitable plug-in, fully integrated pump kit is available as an additional option, which can be used to transport the condensate to higher elevations or over greater distances. The pump kit can be easily removed at any time and replaced with a bucket. The built-in operating hour counter shows clearly and quickly how long the device has been in use. The consumption meter provides information about the power consumption in kWh.
Characteristics
• Housing: Sheet steel coated in stainless steel look
• Installation: Four abrasion-resistant rubber feet for floor installation
• Air flow: Air inlet rear / Air outlet front
• Carrying handle: Sturdy foldable handle for carrying
• Wall mounting: Wall bracket optionally available
• Stackable: for transport and storage
• Air filter: Protects the device from dust
• Fan: 2-stage, energy-efficient EC fan
• Condensate drain: Water tank 7 liters with automatic shutdown when full and when drained, hose connection
• Pump kit: Flexible pump kit for permanent condensate drainage (accessory)
• Blue-Dry technology: For particularly energy-saving operation – even at low humidity and temperatures
• Memory function: After a power failure, it resumes operation with the same settings. Therefore, it is also suitable for operation with a timer, for example.
• Hot gas defrosting: Can also be used in cooler environments thanks to automatic self-defrosting.
• Suitable for unattended continuous operation
It is suitable: • as a construction dryer • for dehumidification of basements, commercial premises, industry up to 60m² and in case of water damage • for unattended continuous operation • for operation with a timer The manufacturer "Aerial" belongs to the Dantherm Group and is one of the leading European producers of high-quality professional construction dryers and dehumidifiers for commercial and private use. This dryer is also available in the larger version AD540 .
Aerial "eDRY®" for efficient air dehumidification
The prerequisite for economical operation and reduced energy consumption is the optimal coordination of the components and the use of advanced measurement and control technology. With the development of "eDRY", Aerial was able to further improve the user-friendliness and energy efficiency of the AD series. The use of digital precision sensors in conjunction with the eDRY electronics enables very precise measurement and control of the room humidity.
dehumidification performance Thanks to sophisticated hot gas defrosting, the dryer can be used over a wide temperature range between +3°C and +34°C, although as with all condensation dryers, the dehumidification power decreases in cooler environments. Examples of dehumidification performance and consumption under different (constant) ambient conditions: 30°C / 80% RH: 19 liters / 24h (power consumption: 330 W) 27°C / 60% RH: 11 liters / 24h (power consumption: 295 W) 20°C / 60% RH: 8 liters / 24h (power consumption: 260 W) 10°C / 70% RH: 6 liters / 24h (power consumption: 210 W) (RH=relative humidity)
